Our Method
- We mark out where the cover sole will go, lined up behind the sole bend and logo
- We delicately slice a very thin line of leather
- The area outside of the line is gently sanded, enough to ensure the glue adheres
- We glue the sole and cover sole separately, let dry, then stick together
- Once dry, we hand trim the edges
- Finally, we hand paint the edges to match the sides of the sole.
