Ragnar Goods in the UK has handmade and hand-stitched this Brown Oak Bark Tanned Leather Belt. It features three lines of hand-stitching with a highlight of Norvegese stitching in the centre. The gradual pit tanning of Baker leather gives it a very dense grain whilst still maintaining suppleness. The leather has been hand-dyed and hand-cured with fats and waxes to achieve an English bridle look.

The Baxter & Black difference…
There is a huge difference in quality and wear when it comes to leathers. Baxter & Black uses J&FJ Baker leather from Britain, instead of local leathers like other shoe repairers. Baker leather is oak bark, pit tanned for a year. Local leather is vegetable tanned which doesn’t impart durability during the tanning process. This means the amount of tannage in Bakers leather is a lot more than regular leather. Therefore, the leather lasts around three times longer. Bakers leather is the only leather tannery left in the world that is 100% natural, using no chemicals.
