Saphir Smooth Leather Cleanser is a new product made for regular smooth leather, embossed grain leather, oiled leaders and shell cordovan. It gently removes dirt, stains and excess waxes by opening up the pores. In comparison, it is more efficient than Saphir Renovateur Cream, but milder. Additionally, it also doesn’t remove old cream like Saphir Renomat does.

Carnuba wax can cause wax build-up and cracking of the polish. Instead, Saphir Smooth Leather Cleanser uses Montan wax. Montan wax is brown-black solid, non-toxic, tasteless and has a high melting point. It works with the top layers of polish, creating a smooth surface to further aid in quickening the polishing process.

Smooth Leather Cleanser is perfect for a quick once-over between full restorations and cleans.

How to use

1. Firstly, brush off any dirt or dust on your shoes
2. Shake the bottle
3. Apply a small amount in a circular motion with a cotton cloth
4. Wait 15 minutes
5. Finally, gently buff off. It is recommended to store in a shoebox or shoe bag to maintain your shoes, bags or boots
