Our Method
- We begin by removing the old heel using a heel puller, being careful not to damage the midsole or surrounding leather.
- Next, we clean the heel base thoroughly, removing any old glue or nails.
- We roughen both the shoe’s heel base and the Dainite Studded Rubber Heel heel surface with sandpaper for better adhesion.
- We apply Renia glue to both surfaces. After waiting 15 minutes we push the heel firmly onto the shoe and clamp.
- Once bonded, we trim the excess rubber before sanding to a flush finish
- Finally we add nails for extra durability
