Description

At Baxter & Black, we know every fine women’s shoe begins and ends with its sole. The Ladies Leather Full Sole proves this belief. It blends elegance, comfort and quiet strength. Crafted from the same premium European leather as our men’s soles, it is made thinner for a lighter, more graceful finish. It gives women’s shoes balance, poise and refined durability.

We source our leather from a trusted European tannery known for skill and tradition. We test and select only the most consistent hides. Each piece goes through a slow oak bark vegetable-tanning process. This strengthens the fibres and adds flexibility. As a result, the leather feels supple yet remains strong. It wears beautifully, resists moisture and moves naturally with the foot. This long process… measured in months, not weeks, creates leather that lasts.

At Baxter and Black, we treat every sole with care. We order matching heels from the same tannery for perfect consistency. Then, we shape, sand and burnish each sole by hand. We also offer dovetail or half rubber heels for stability and choice. Every step of the process focuses on precision and finish.

The result is elegant, durable and beautifully made. The Ladies Leather Full Sole delivers comfort with lasting quality. It honours traditional craftsmanship while standing strong for the future.
